AURA

The basis of Aura lies primarily in the inkling that what we call reality hides a web of complex relationships beyond rational thought. Its purpose is to metaphorically recreate this secret network of connections through a universe of images loaded with hidden keys, in which the profound meaning of events goes beyond the space and time of the narrative, moving closer to the sudden spark of the poetic. One of the fundamental aspects of the project is the resonance among the photographs themselves, that give rise to new images produced by the integrated sum of their parts whose sum total seems impossible, however truthful from an oneiric point of view. These encounters generate an always present ambiguity which makes us wonder whether we’re seeing or imagining.
